We are UCI Solar Car, where innovation hits the racetrack!
We are a driven team of undergraduate students committed to advancing sustainable transportation through competition. Over each two-year development cycle, we design, build, and race solar-powered vehicles from the ground up, applying knowledge from mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, business to tackle real-world challenges. Our goal is not only to compete at events like the Formula Sun Grand Prix and the American Solar Challenge, but also to provide a hands-on learning experience that empowers students to develop technical expertise, leadership skills, and teamwork. We are more than a student organization. We are innovators, engineers, and racers dedicated to pushing the limits of sustainable technology while preparing the next generation of leaders in STEM and beyond.
